Fern Gully
Fern Gully is the most secluded site surrounded by lush ferns and native plants on the bank of the Nantahala River. Here you will find a safari-style insulated canvas tent with outdoor covered seating area on a raised 14 x 16 platform. Inside is a king-size bed and a sitting area with two folding cots (for children). Bed linens are provided for the king bed only – sheets, pillows, and blankets. Overhead lighting and outlets are available inside the tent.

This site has a private stone step directly into the river.
A heated bath house with flushing toilets and hot showers located on the property. A port-a-potty is provided near site as a convenience due to distance to the bathhouse.
Note:
Parking is only available at the top of this site, but it’s a short 300 foot walk to the platform and fire ring area. A hand trolley is provided to help with luggage transport.
