For one Sunday each summer, Winding Stair hosts a free open house at the Campground. The gates are open—bring a packed lunch, relax by the river, explore our camping and glamping sites, visit our flock of Icelandic sheep, and see our free-range turkeys, ducks, chickens, and guineas. Tour our working, water-powered grist mill.
Spring Farm Tour – Early May, Saturday

Held just after lambing season, this private tour invites you to explore the Mountain Livestock Farm with owners Greg and Stacy, as well as our campground and livestock managers. This is the original property where Winding Stair Farm began.

Gooseberry House (not included) – 3b/2.5b: Gooseberry House sits across the street from the campground. This spacious house sleeps 8 and includes linens and towels, a well-stocked kitchen, a porch out back with a fire-pit, and more. Great for those in your group who do not want to camp, this house can be added to your full-campground rental.
