Perhaps our most unique site at the campground, the Glass House is where our farm got its start. Before 2021, we used this glass propagation house to start all of our produce. Now that most of our vegetable production has moved to the Valley Farm, this site has been opened for camping.

Tips | Camping in Western NC doesn't get more flexible—bring your tent and decide where to pitch it based on the weather. |
The old potting-up station is now a food prep station/ bar with lights and power strip. Water is available year round from two potable water hose pipes.
Inside the Glass House, you’ll find fans, lighting, long counters, and a wood stove (sinks operate in warmer months).
This glass-walled structure is not fully watertight, but tents can be set up inside during cooler months. In warmer months, it’s best to camp outside due to heat.
This site includes a Breeo fire pit with removable grill along with 4 Adirondack chairs.
Firewood bundles can be purchased at the camp store. Or you can order a pallet of wood before arrival.
Though still close to the bathhouse, Glass House offers a secluded feel with a private driveway and the soothing sound of the river below.
Camp outside or stay cozy inside; Glass House is great for winter camping!
